However, bringing 2024 wedding trends into your elopement might just be the cherry on top to add that little spice and personality to your grand adventure. Over the years there have been some amazing and fun trends that we have all enjoyed, from boho weddings to vintage themes. After COVID, this trend kind of stuck around, and I’m not mad about it. What is better than an intimate gathering of only your closest friends and family?  Not only is it budget friendly, but you also get to experience your wedding more than you would with a traditional wedding. There is no wondering if you forgot to talk to a guest, or get a photo with everyone. It’s less stressful and more enjoyable for you and your partner.

Personalized experiences

It’s easy to show your personality in every part of your life, from the car you drive to the type of chap stick you use (Burt’s Bees for the win!), so why not your wedding? More and more we are seeing people imbue their wedding with small personal details or décor to show off who they are. From stationary, to food and décor, even to little interactive elements that will have your guests feeling like they have just walked into your own little love bubble. So why not throw tradition away and make this day about you, your partner, and your union! Go get those berries for your center pieces.

Bold Colors and Statement décor

Subtle blues and green are out, and in comes the bold and vibrant color pallets. Think Vegas lights mixed with Nashville charm. This is another great way to infuse your personality into your elopement. And I am here for this trend. Adding a bold pop to your bouquet or applique flowers to your dress is a perfect way to bring this trend to your elopement. Beyond that, we are seeing couples using more color in their invitations and save the dates in addition to their color scheme.

More and more we are seeing live streaming at weddings, after COVID this became really popular with all the travel restrictions in place. But like smaller weddings, this is not going away anytime soon, in fact, live streaming is only the tip of the tech trend iceberg you should expect to see in 2024. More and more people are searching for the next hot spot. We are seeing couples tying the knot in unconventional places. Whether you are seeking an adventure or just looking for something a little different for your wedding photos, look outside the box for your venue/location. This pairs perfectly with an elopement or a micro wedding!!
